These films all have a common thread, which will be easy to guess once you've answered a couple of them.

Simply guess the movie the quote is from. The year of the film is provided. And don't cheat by looking on a search engine such as imdb or google ;)

Comments are screened, so go ahead and take your guesses!

1. "Angel, ha! She's a female! And all females is poison! They're full of wicked wiles!" (1937)

2. "I warn you dear child, if I lose my temper, you lose your head. Understand?" (1951)

3. "Aye, he's dreaming of those bonnie bygone days when he and his grandfather were tracking criminals through the swamps." (1955)

4. "My story begins in London, not so very long ago. And yet so much has happened since then, that it seems more like an eternity." (1961)

5. "Why would you half-drown yourself for a tidbit of fish, and after such a big breakfast?" (1963)

6. "Faith is a blue bird, we see from far. It's for real and as sure as the first evening star, you can't touch it or buy it or wrap it up tight but it's there just the same, making things turn out right." (1977)

7. "That cursed beast liked the taste of me so well he's followed me ever since, licking his chops for the rest of me." (1951)

8. "Listen, kid. I hate to break it to ya, but the dynamic duo is now the dynamic *uno*." (1988)

9. "Espirit de Corps. That's the way I earned my commission in the Majarajah's Fifth Pachyderm Brigade. Back in '88 it was. Or... or was it?" (1967)

10. "Yes, yes, she has the most beautiful voice, hmm? If only she'd show up for rehearsal once in a while!"

11. "I'm very well aware that this is my last chance for glory. But mark my words, Wiggins. When King James sees the gold these peasants unearths, success will be mine at last." (1995)

12. "As you can see, the pseudo-facade was stripped away to reveal a minimalist rococo design. Note the unusual inversely vaulted ceilings. This is yet another example of the late neoclassic Baroque period. And, as I always say, "if it's not Baroque, don't fix it!"" (1991)

13. "You stole your father's armor, ran away from home, impersonated a soldier, deceived your commanding officer, dishonored the Chinese Army, destroyed my palace, and... you have saved us all." (1998)

14. "His destructive programming is taking effect. He will be irresistibly drawn to large cities, where he will back up sewers, reverse street signs, and steal everyone's left shoe." (2002)

15. "My singin'? Birds *sing.* Saloon girls *sing.* Little bitty snot nosed children *sing.* I yodel, and yodelin'... is an *art!*" (2004)

Your answers 5, 6, 8, 12, and 15 are incorrect. Look more carefully at the years of the film, that should help some.

The others, and the theme, are correct.
